Laceby Manor Gym & Spa Membership Policies
Minimum Term
Pay-monthly memberships have a three-month minimum term.
Introduction
These policies set out the rules and expectations for Laceby Manor Gym and Spa (“the Club”). They apply to all members and are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable and professional environment. By joining, you agree to follow these policies. Laceby Manor reserves the right to suspend or cancel membership if these are breached.
Accessing the Club
Check-in
All members must check in at reception or scan in using their membership card, key fob, or mobile app. Replacement cards are available at reception for £10.
Spa Access
Members whose package includes spa access must book through the members’ portal during designated member times. Access outside booked times may be refused.
Identification
We may request photo ID or keep a copy on file to confirm your identity.
Good Standing
Entry may be refused if your membership fees are overdue or your account is otherwise not in good standing.
Guests
Guest passes may be available with certain memberships. Guests must be signed in at reception, show ID, and complete a waiver. Guests are expected to follow all Gym and Spa policies.
Membership Cancellations
To cancel your membership, you must provide written notice by email to spa@lacebymanor.co.uk before the 14th of the month for cancellation at the end of that month. Memberships cannot be cancelled within the initial three-month minimum term. If you move more than 25 miles from the Club, you may cancel your membership during or after the initial term. Proof of new address will be required. Using the Club
Member Conduct
Members are expected to act respectfully at all times. Harassment, abuse, aggressive behaviour, or disruption will not be tolerated.
Mobile Phones & Cameras
Use of phones, cameras or recording devices is strictly prohibited in private areas such as locker rooms and spa treatment rooms. Please avoid phone calls or video chats while in the Club. Photos/videos in public areas are for personal use only — not for business or promotional purposes — and you must respect the privacy of other members.
Lockers & Personal Belongings
Lockers are for day use only unless rented separately. Items left overnight may be removed. Laceby Manor accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
Dress Code
Appropriate gym clothing and footwear must be worn. Swimwear is required in pool areas.
Personal Trainers
Only Laceby Manor trainers may provide training in the Gym. Outside trainers are not permitted.
Children
Members must be over 18. Children are not permitted in the Gym, locker rooms, or on equipment.
Weapons
Firearms or other weapons are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Spa Treatments & Bookings
Booking & Payment
A valid credit/debit card is required to book spa treatments.
Cancellations
Treatments, packages and spa days may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 7 days before the appointment. Less than 7 days’ notice or a no-show will be charged in full. Arriving late will reduce treatment time.
Refunds & Expiry
Treatments, packages and spa days are non-refundable and non-transferable. They expire six months from purchase unless otherwise stated.
Mutual Respect
Our team will always act professionally and respectfully, and we ask the same from members. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in treatment being stopped and may lead to membership termination.
Complimentary Items
From time to time, complimentary sessions or treatments may be offered. These have no cash value, are non-transferable, and usually expire 90 days from issue unless otherwise stated. Complimentary items can only be redeemed while your membership is active and in good standing.
